Puck knobs increase bat speed and allows to add more density to create more pop and exit velocity.
A puck knob is a one-inch extension added to the bottom of the bat's knob. The goal is to counterbalance the weight of the barrel by moving the balance point closer to the batter's hands.
We use a denser wood billet to produce puck knob bats, which increases the overall weight of the bat in comparison to a standard knob. The overall length of a puck knob bat will also be increased. For example, a 33" MP23 will have a total length of 34" including the puck knob, but it will swing lighter than a typical 33" bat with a traditional knob.
